Only what you send me. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, your email address, what you need help with, an optional budget range, and your message.

The form also stores a scrambled code made from your IP address (a one-way hash with a secret key), so one visitor can't send dozens of messages an hour. It can't be turned back into your IP, and it's erased after a day.

If you email me directly, your message goes to my business inbox in Microsoft 365, like any other email.

Contact form messages are saved in a database run by Cloudflare, then sent to my inbox through Resend, an email delivery service. Saving first means a message isn't lost if an email fails.

I keep messages for 24 months, then delete them. You can ask me to delete yours sooner, and I will.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending it. To do that, Cloudflare looks at technical signals from your browser. Most people see nothing; sometimes it asks you to tick a box. It isn't used to track you.

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you, and doesn't follow you to other sites.

Cloudflare serves this site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks.

The About page shows album covers for a few songs I like. Those images load straight from Spotify, so Spotify can see your IP address when that page loads. No Spotify player or account is involved.

No cookies, no ads, no tracking pixels, and no newsletter list. I never sell or share your information. I only use it to reply to you.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete anything you've sent me. Email hello@santiagoweb.dev and I'll handle it within 30 days.
